Developing overarching logistics strategies

We deliver strategies for large-scale regeneration and infrastructure programmes. These include significant and complex construction schemes operating in close proximity to residents and areas of high footfall.

Writing outline and detailed CLPs on behalf of clients and developers

The local planning authorities need to approve CLPs. After that process, Project Centre can develop and implement the monitoring processes, including governance and compliance measures to ensure schemes adhere to their Construction Logistics Plan on an ongoing basis.

Providing technical advise on logistics interventions

This includes feasibilities for off-site consolidation centres and vehicle holding areas to help manage and reduce the volume and impact of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to sites. We can also advise clients on other key measures, including the re-timing of construction deliveries and providing a detailed analysis of traffic routing plans to minimise the impact of construction vehicles on the local road network.

Engaging with contractors and stakeholders

We develop and implement comprehensive local community stakeholder communications and engagement strategies. This is a crucial aspect of construction logistics to ensure that local residents and stakeholders are kept regularly informed about progress with construction works and so that any issues or concerns from residents can be addressed promptly.
