Project Centre’s Operations Director, Graham Storrie, commented: “I am excited that we are now the Liverpool County Council Framework. Liverpool City is going through a regeneration which will continue to transform the area into a thriving destination for the community and the environment.”
We’re proud to be working on producing high quality infrastructure in Liverpool that will encourage active travel across the region.
Liverpool City Region Combined Authorities – Halton Borough Council
Project Centre designed cycling and walking infrastructure for Halton Borough Council to provide high-quality active travel routes across the area.
The scheme proposed to introduce new ‘point-to-point’ cycling facilities along a 7km route, including junction upgrades and pedestrian improvements throughout. The major issues across the route were steep gradients, heavily deteriorated track and poor visibility.
We completed the project with a tight timescale and managed any arising issues with timely solutions. Our designs are now in construction and will increase active travel in the area, improving green areas and promoting a healthier lifestyle.
Liverpool City Region Combined Authorities – Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council
Project Centre designed high-grade cycling and walking infrastructure for Liverpool City Region Combined Authorities. The scheme proposed to introduce new ‘point-to-point’ cycling facilities along a 10.2km route, including junction upgrades and pedestrian improvements throughout.
The route of the project interfaces with a large-scale regeneration of the Tower Road docklands area of Birkenhead. We built on existing relationships with stakeholders, sharing current proposals and future plans and opportunities to encompass the aspirations of all parties.
We completed the project in a timely manner and issued feedback forms to our clients throughout the lifecycle of the project. Our Birkenhead to New Brighton project received 100% satisfaction rate on our feedback form from the client.
