We are pleased to announce that from Friday 1 December, NSL has taken over the Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) contract for Hounslow Council.
In September, the Council’s previous provider notified the authority of their intention to terminate its contract with them, with their services finishing at the end of November. Hounslow worked quickly to find an alternative provider who had the experience and capacity to take over the contract at short notice.
The Council appointed NSL under a negotiated agreement to provide parking services until the current contract ends in December 2025. Under the agreement, NSL is responsible for parking enforcement and issuing Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), permits and Blue Badges.
At NSL, we have over 3,500 frontline staff who supply local authorities with leading parking services. We provide our Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) with high-level training to give them the knowledge and confidence they need to protect the communities and themselves within their role.
As part of a CEO’s responsibilities, they support councils on their parking priorities to improve road safety and protect residents. Parking regulations are implemented to minimise road safety risks, ensure traffic flows correctly and monitor the misuse of parking bays.
“I am pleased that we have been able to move swiftly on securing a new provider and look forward to working with NSL over the next two years. As a Council we always put our residents first and wanted to ensure there is no disruption to services whilst getting on board a new provider to deliver this very important service.”
Councillor Salman Shaheen, Cabinet Member for Recreation, Public Spaces and Parking at Hounslow
“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Hounslow Council to deliver parking enforcement services for the next two years. Residents should see no disruption to services as we mobilise the contract, and we are committed to providing a high-quality service to ensure Hounslow’s roads and communities are kept safe for all.”
Ras Dewan, our Account Director at NSL
We look forward to supporting Hounslow Council with their parking enforcement over the next two years and establishing relationships within the local community.
